The Bell is a wonderful country pub. The staff and customers were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The food was absolutely gorgeous, great quality local steak and generous portion sizes. Words don't exist to describe just how much I would recommend this pub.
Stopped in en-route to Hereford for work. Lovely evening by the river, great beer, good food and a relaxing atmosphere. Waitress was lovely and chatty, but not too much which is a bonus. Will stop by again next time I go that way
The least thing I can do is to be honest and tell others what a great time I had here. I met the friendliest local people and furry friends, had an excellent cup of tea, and was very kindly offered a lift to my hotel in Monmouth. Worth a visit for anyone walking along Offa’s Dyke.
Exactly what a pub should be! Great menu, food is delicious and the staff are really friendly. Called in on the off chance whilst out for the day and glad I did! I will definitely return and highly recommend!!
We had Sunday lunch here yesterday. A group of 8 and a nervous dog. To say we were well looked after is an understatement. We had a fantastic waitess. She was attentive, humorous and went out of her way to make sure all our needs were accommodated. The Sunday roast was absolutely lush. The best roast dinner we have had in a long time. The portions were very generous. I'd recommend supporting this lovely, friendly, local business if you're passing. You won't regret it.
Great pub, positioned in a lovely village by the river wye. The food was of a high standard. Friday nights they have live music, we had a fun evening dancing to Tequila Mockingbird.
First visit, seemed a friendly place. Apparently entertainment the night before. Japanese beefburgers being made outside, quite expensive but tasted wonderful. Lovely surroundings. Would recommend
Small, quaint pub with local ales on tap. A great walk over the iron bridge to access the pub. Friendly service.The gardens are wonderful, natural waterfalls & giant plants. Worth a visit
A locals pub with great atmosphere, visitors made to feel very welcome. Good food, generous portions. Friendly staff who go the extra mile to ensure you enjoy your meal. Would definitely recommend this lovely pub.
Great welcome and delicious simple pub food. We both had the delicious locally sourced burger with perfectly cooked chips and crispy battered onion rings and fresh tasty salad. Excellent service and a friendly atmosphere.
